What were the Phoenix Lights on March 13, 1997?

Answers

  1. Thousands of people reported lights over the valley that night. The lights filmed around 10 p.m. match flares dropped by Maryland Air National Guard A-10s over the Barry M. Goldwater Range. They drifted down and vanished behind the Estrella Mountains. TEQLA Guide Best answer
  2. An earlier V-shaped row of lights is a separate report. Skeptics often read it as aircraft lights, and some witnesses still disagree. Neither event has been shown to be a spacecraft. TEQLA Guide
